Mar 18, 08 - 3:33 PM The World will miss my friend Anthony Minghella....
I found out this morning when my friends in London woke me up with this very tragic news :-( Ant was the name he was called on the set... and I had a wonderful time working with Anthony Minghella on Cold Mountain. His sudden death is a shock to everyone who had the pleasure of working with this great talent.
He was a gentle spirit with an outstanding mind and intellect and I am proud to have had the opportunity to have worked with him on the Oscar winning film Cold Mountain...
I extent my condolences to all his family... his wife and his son Max and I will pray for his journey home... Ant was a great man and this is a great loss for the World for he was truly a master story teller....
May you rest in peace my friend...
With all my heart
Jay Tavare...
