Nesh Ta Gol Teh... I am just dropping by to say get ready for a movie experience. Marcus Nispel is a visionary director and a great storyteller and I am having a great time working with him on this film. Our DP Daniel Pearl is doing some serious magic with the budget and this film will have the look of a 100 million dollar film believe me. If you liked the Lord of the Rings and how it looked on film then the Pathfinder will put a smile on your face. Our cast has come together in the last week or so and we do have some great actors on the set, Clancy Brown, Karl Urban, Moon Bloodgood, Russlle Means, Nathaniel Arcand and Ralf Moeller are just a few of the wonderful actors I am working with. Vancouver is an awesome city to shoot a action fantasy film such as this, the scenic locations are breathtakingly beautiful and I look forward to each day of filming as I know I am going to get to see more places. The Viking customs will leave you in awe and the natives are as real as you have seen them but this film is stylized and will be a summer release next year and I believe it should do very well as it is a simple story based on some historical facts but shot with a passion that will be evident as soon as you will see the trailor.
I like to end by wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving and remind you all share your extra turkey with some homeless and most likely hungry person that might be sitting not too far from your warm home.
This is Jay Tavare reporting from the set of Pathfinder an Untold History!

Oct 5th, 2005 - 6:20 AM HELLO JAY
Thank you again (know you are probably tired of 'hearing' it after all the other posts). I'm glad things are going so well on the set of "Pathfinder". I can't wait to see it next summer, as I too, am a big fan of LOTR triliagee. And I give you praise for keeping your adoring fans apraised of the things going on in your life.
But it sounds like we won't hear from you again until Thanksgiving. And though I appreciate you wishing us a good one (BTW, may your Thanksgiving be good & I hope you don't eat too much), I don't know if I (as well as my other tribal sisters) can handle waiting so long to hear from you once again. I know how time flies, especially when one is so busy. I know how something gets missed being done when one is so busy... But a whole month or more, again? Without reading your thoughtful words, 'hearing' that flirtatious sound that you have, to be encouraged just from a post from you......almost too much to bear . I beg you not to keep us in suspence that long. Please?!
And if not, as always, we will "hold down the fort" for you....
Blessings once again,

Thanks so much for thinking of us to provide the update on the new project. We will all be awaiting anxiously to see Pathfinder, as it sounds like it will be an awesome movie with a great cast!
Now as for that "try" to help with the fundraising, hummmm. A very wise man told me once that he wished the word "try" would be eliminated from our language because it actually gives one an out -- like you tried, but it didn't work, etc. Do you "try" to be a great actor, dancer, martial arts extraordinaire, humanitarian?? I think NOT! You are not the type to "try" -- you ALWAYS seem to excel in any endeavor you undertake and I know you will do the same for the Foundation when you have more time. Thanks in advance because we know you will come up with some wonderful things.
And we have plenty of homeless people in our area, especially after the hurricanes, so you can bet we'll all be opening our doors for Thanksgiving and many days before and after. Wonderful early Thanksgiving blessing to you as well!

Hello: thanks for taking time to write to us. Glad you are enjoying the scenic Vancouver area.
Sounds like you might be able to celebrate Thanksgiving TWICE this year as Canadian Thanksgiving
is this week-end (Oct 10).
You've probably noticed that now that it's October our weather has become 'the rainy season'.
Have you taken up the challenge of the "Grouse Grind" ?
Awesome that you are enjoying your coworkers.
Can't wait to see this movie
Take care, Cvia

I am always left speechless when I come on here and find that you have posted Jay. I sometimes forget that you are out there and ....REAL. I can't wait to see Pathfinder! Somewhere in my blonde, ice-blue eyed background is plenty of Viking ancestory. Aside from the fact that you are in it, the story itself should be fascinating! Glad you are having fun and still find the time to check in...I wonder, just how many of these posts do you read? And have you joined in on the Halloween fun of coming in under another name? Hmmm...wouldn't that be tricky? But a great treat, eh ladies?? Enjoy the Great White North and stay warm! LOL JustCurious aka JC aka smartmouth_blonde64

It was good to see the update from you, Jay. Since you are in Canada I am assuming that the "Thanksgiving" you are referring to is the Canadian Thanksgiving that is this Monday (Oct 10th). I hope you get the chance to enjoy some turkey and all the fixins' while you are there.
You know that those of us here will be waiting with bated breath for the summer release of Pathfinder. Enjoy the rest of the shoot and your time in Vancouver.
